- With the rapid development in detergent science, and the increasing demand of consumers for highly effective materials in cleaning, sterilization and disinfection of germs, specialists in detergent chemistry had to research and develop products that serve the market .And producers, green floor gel is one of the important substances that play a cleaning and sterilization role, as a result of the entry of surface-effective substances and pine oil into its composition.

First- Important key points before starting the green gel industry:

1. The quality of pine oil used:

Where it is very important to use a good type of pine oil with high purity, if you use a bad type will not get a good result and will consume large amounts of pine oil and increase the costs for you.

2- The proportion of active substances:

Do not reduce the proportion of active substances in the product because this will negatively affect you, and you will not be able to get a homogeneous product and will increase the consumption of pine oil to get the required viscosity (gel form)

3- Pigment used:

Use a green pigment at a high concentration to take the least possible amount of pigment and give dark color Beautifully.

II- Raw materials involved in the manufacture of green flooring super gel:

1- Sulfonic acid:

It is a superficially active stray (anionic) substance with a slightly viscous water texture in light or dark brown color According to the source . Commercially, its concentration is 96% and it produces the active substance responsible for the cleaning phase in the product.

2- Caustic soda: (sodium hydroxide)

They are formed in the form of crystalline crusts or white granules depending on the source, which is the substance that reacts with sulfonic acid to produce sodium salt for it

3-  KD: (Coconut de Ethanol Amin)

It is a superficially effective substance of coconut derivatives, with a slightly viscous water texture of yellowish brown color . Its commercial focus is 85% - its role is enhanced by foam and a lift for the wife.

4- Pine oil:

Pine oil is obtained from the steam distillation of the leaves, twigs, and trunks of pine nuts, and synthetic pine oil derived from turpentine is the largest sales percentage around the world.

It has no specific chemical formula it is a mixture of several components, with a pale yellow color and may sometimes come colorless, insoluble in water uses pine oil in alternative medicine where it has a strong smell and shame, and in some pesticides and in the manufacture of detergent

It has important properties in cleansing, it is effective against fungi and against many harmful germs and bacteria.

5- Pigment:

You should use a dark green pigment High concentration.

6 - Preservative

such as formalin or parmetol if using formol you have to make sure the ph is good so that it is at the value of 7, because the vormol remains constant at this value,

- The modus operandi of making 25 kg of green floor gel:

  • Fill the mixing barrel with 20kg filtered water.
  • Add 4kg sulfonic acid, stirring well.
  • Add 550g of sodium hydroxide, stirring for 5-10 minutes to make sure the reaction is complete.
  • Add 0.5 kg of (kd) and continue stirring.
  • Add 50g preservatives.
  • Add 5 to 7 g dark green pigment.

  • Leave the mixture for some time until the foam is gone from 3 to 6 hours.
  • 7. Add 1.5kg of pine oil gradually with quick stirring until the gel is strong.

Thus, we have obtained the green gel, cleansed, disinfectant and sterile in a wonderfully attractive, and highly effective way.
